Export & account deletion

Understand progress backups, sign-out, browser reset, and cloud account deletion.

Last updated

Export your learner record

In the signed-in workspace, choose Export progress in the sidebar. The JSON download includes the browser's current learner record and resumable work. It can contain private answers, notes, Tutor history, and other saved activity; keep it secure. This is a learner-state backup, not a complete export of cloud account metadata, uploaded file bytes, or all shared community content. Contact support if you need those additional records.

Sign-out and browser reset

Sign-out ends this browser's session; it does not delete your account or cloud learner record. The separate revoke-other-sessions control affects other sessions. Resetting this browser first attempts to secure the signed-in learner state in the cloud, then signs out and clears the local copy. A failed sync aborts that reset. Signing in again can restore cloud data. Clearing storage through browser settings is a separate action and can remove unsynced work.

Request account deletion

There is no self-service cloud account deletion button in this release. Email support from your account address with the subject Account deletion. We may need to verify ownership before acting. State whether you want the account and associated learner data removed, and mention uploaded files or shared work that should be considered. Do not include your password, session tokens, or a full progress export.

Email jcbprks@mathpro.dev.

What deletion must consider

The request needs to cover account identity, cloud learner records and their projections, uploaded files, avatars, and relevant community records. Shared copies already held by recipients cannot necessarily be recalled. Hosting or security logs and provider backups may be handled separately. Support should confirm what was removed and any remaining retention; an immediate complete purge or fixed completion deadline is not promised. After cloud deletion is confirmed, remove remaining local copies on devices you control if you no longer want them.
