What MathPro stores, why it uses that data, and how you can manage it.

Information you provide
Account creation uses an email address and password through Supabase Auth. Your profile can include a display name, study preferences, and an optional avatar. The learner record can include answers, attempts, diagnostic and exam results, lesson activity, review state, goals, notes, Tutor history, calculator history, and saved work. Use a display name that you are comfortable sharing, and avoid putting sensitive personal information in notes or messages.
How information is used
MathPro uses this information to authenticate you, save and restore your work, provide learning activities, calculate progress signals, recommend study actions, and operate features you choose to use. Opening a page does not by itself award mastery. The current application does not load Vercel Web Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics beacons and does not use an advertising tracker.
Where information goes
The browser stores a local learner record and account session information. Signed-in cloud sync sends learner data to Supabase. Uploaded avatars and files use cloud storage. Vercel hosts the site, and hCaptcha processes security checks for protected account actions. Embedded lesson videos or externally loaded resources can contact their providers when used. Those services handle requests under their own policies.
Sharing and access
Your private learner record is not automatically published to other learners. Community connections, group membership, presence, chat, and explicitly shared work expose information to their intended recipients. Account authorization and access controls protect cloud data; they are not a promise of end-to-end encryption. Operators and service providers may access information needed to run, secure, troubleshoot, or respond to requests concerning the service.
Retention and your choices
This release does not automatically expire signed-in learner records. Local copies remain until you remove or reset them; cloud copies may remain after sign-out or a browser reset. Export progress before removing data you may need. Account deletion is handled by a request, not by the browser reset button. Shared copies, service logs, and backups may require separate handling; this policy does not promise an immediate purge or a fixed backup deletion schedule.
Privacy questions and changes
Contact MathPro support for access, correction, deletion, privacy concerns, or questions about using MathPro with learners who need guardian permission. MathPro has not established a school-managed or dedicated child-account program. Policy updates will be dated on this page.
